인천광역시(시장 박남춘)는 6월 22일 인천문화예술회관에서 아빠 육아 참여 및 인식개선 프로그램 일환으로 ‘인천 100인의 아빠단 발대식’을 개최했다고 밝혔다.
아빠단은 인천지역의 3세~7세 자녀를 둔 아빠를 대상으로 모집을 진행했으며, 150여명의 신청자가 몰려 아빠육아 참여에 대한 인천 아빠들의 뜨거운 관심을 증명했다. 아빠단은 신청사연을 바탕으로 아빠육아 참여의지가 돋보인 가정을 우선으로 선발했다.
이번 발대식은 선정된 100인의 아빠들이 앞으로 6개월간 아빠단 활동을 시작하기 위한 출범식으로써 위촉장 수여, 선서문 낭독, 활동내용 안내와 동반 자녀를 위한 매직&벌룬쇼 등을 진행해 참석한 아빠와 아이들에게 큰 호응을 얻었다.
앞으로 100인의 아빠들은 보건복지부 멘토단 ‘100인의 아빠단 공식커뮤니티’를 활용하여 매주 1회 온라인 주간 미션을 수행하고, 육아 멘토와 온·오프라인 멘토링 등 다양한 활동을 하게 된다.
또한, 아이와 아빠가 함께 일상생활에서의 소소한 추억을 블로그를 통해 육아의 즐거움과 노하우를 공유하고, 아빠의 육아참여를 확산하는 인천의 대표 아빠로 활동하게 되며, 인천 100인의 아빠단 운영은 인구보건복지협회 인천지회가 운영한다.
이날 인천 100인의 아빠단 단장으로 선정되어 위촉장을 대표로 받은 황의진 씨(31세)는 “현재 육아휴직중인데 100인의 아빠단을 통해 아이들과 더욱 친해지고 가까워지도록 노력하겠다.”라며, “다른 아빠들의 모범이 되도록 열심히 활동하겠다.”고 포부를 밝혔다.
이현애 여성가족국장은 “인천 100인의 아빠단은 기존의 아빠 역할에 변화를 주고 아빠의 육아 참여를 활성화시키기 위해 2019년 최초 출범하는 초보아빠들의 공식모임이다.”라며, “육아에 관심은 있지만 서툰 아빠들이 서로 고민을 나누고, 노하우를 공유하며 체계적으로 학습할 수 있는 다양한 프로그램으로 진행할 계획이니, 100인의 아빠단 활동을 통해 함께하는 육아의 즐거움을 알고 아이와 좋은 추억을 만들기 바란다.”고 전했다. [영종뉴스 우경원 기자]
